Congratulations on having found your way to this page! This is a public webpage where you can post questions and comments about MTH 346 Number Theory at Portland State. You are not required to participate, and this is in no way a mandatory part of the course... It is simply a website to facilitate discussion. I hope you will find it a useful place to talk about concepts and ideas...

Ground Rules:

1. No posting final answers or complete solutions. (Only I'm allowed to do that.) Constructive hints and suggestions are the law here.
2. Stay on topic. I don't want to have to wade through tons of irrelevant chit-chat to find the math. No one else does, either! Number theory only. That said, anything relevant to number theory and of interest to this class is welcome!
3. Be polite! No spam, insults, or anything offensive whatsoever. This is a public forum, so behave yourselves! : ) I'll censor the board if needed, but I'd rather not have to! Personal comments, course critiques, grading questions, etc need to be handled offline.
